The Jurassic Way is a 88 mile long distance footpath between Banbury and Stamford sponsored by Norhamptonshire County Council. Despite its end points not being in Northamptonshire, the bulk of the walk is in that county. On Saturday 2 August 2008, I walked the 11 mile stretch of the Jurassic Way between Banbury and Chipping Warden. The weather in the morning was appalling, but it became much brighter in the afternoon.

  • very gd x do u no if u can ride and take a pony along this trail?

  • I'm afraid you can't ride or take a pony on the Jurassic Way- most of the route is footpath as opposed to bridleway and there are a huge number of stiles to climb.

  • You lost the Jurassic way in Wardington! Should of gone down the hill to the right of the Plough Pub then left infront of the stone house and through the field called Pits, travelling behind the Manor. Not through the village (past my friends house!!) in front of the Manor.

  • ok thnx anyway

  • Nice views as usual. :)
