@Parture You missed my point. I was using Lazarus as an example. I know he was a child of God before he died. When Jesus raised him He played no part in it. Just like we play no part in God saving us from being dead in sin.

@MrWinknod Resurrection follows salvation. It is because a person is saved they are then resurrected before the millennial kingdom. Why think because a person is resurrected they are irresistibly regenerated? There is no grounds for such a belief. Having eternal life occurs now, not when a person is resurrected.

@Parture Gods grace is sufficient to redeem all his sheep. You must see yourself as Lazurus, a dead man who Jesus raised from the dead. Lazurus had no part to play in his regeneration. You seem to imply that Jesus was a tyrant to impose life on Lazurus.

@MrWinknod God's grace is sufficient to redeem every soul who ever lived whosoever is willing. This is something your god can't do. Your god can only save those he irresistibly imposes regeneration upon. Lazarus was regenerated before he was raised. He already had repented and believed in Christ to be regenerated. See how you misread God's word? And everyone is resurrected, but the unsaved are resurrected 1000 years after the saved. We are all made in His image so everyone gets resurrected.

So what you are saying then is God doesn't get what he wants because mens wills are just too much for him to overcome. You are worshiping a weak god then.

@MrWinknod This is something your god can't do, that is, your god can't provide sufficient grace for all to have the free choice. Because your god is impotent to be able to do this, he can only irresistibly impose regeneration like an evil tyrant like Hitler who irresisitbly imposed the gas chambers on the Jews just because they were born that way. What love is that? Your god is not just weak but down right evil reflecting your own heart condition.
