  • Unfortunately he dropped one of his final loads when he was stealing it. It happens when you're 81! This led to a little confusion at the end of the effect, especially when he tried to cover by swapping in the large red ball fro the two little ones under the left cup at 5:32. He would usually produce 4 large balls at the end from underneath the cups.

The wand spin at the end was an impromptu add on he did to "restore" the magic. He actually recovers quite well considering.

  • I absolutely respect the professor to the utmost degree. How can a 81 year old man possibly remember hundreds of different routines? At the same time, be the best?

  • @heelfan1234 With your permission I would like to copy this comment and answer every single person who says, 'knowing the trick ruins it!! why do you ruin tricks!??'. This is a great polite response. Your comment begain with 'I feel Liam that you are a good person, well intended, but perhaps a little misguided as to ...'

  • You can see his age on this video. His hands are a little shaky and he forgets the routine a little. I'm not sure but did he mess up on the pentration part?

  • @eevil123 I feel Liam that you are a good person, well intended, but perhaps a little misguided as to how we should help magic students especially on mediums like You Tube. I don't know if you do any magic yourself, but if you do like me, you'll know it is important to help people who are interested in the art. You'll certainly find me all over You Tube, helping interested people and explaining the methods to younger magicians especially

  • @eevil123 Secondly I'm hardly rubbing it in his face. I just politely informed the guy I had told the other person. That guy may want to check his comment replies and he will probably realise he has been selfish and made a mistake. He may well want to be more helpful in future. Then again he may not, and want to continue to be selfish, but at least I am giving him the chance. This is good that someone can learn from their mistakes :) It's just part of life's learning process.

  • @eevil123 Well I think once you know the principle of the inertia move, you can experiment yourself with different strength grips and angles to make it look convincing yourself. A few days and weeks in front of a mirror on and off would probably suffice. It isn't necessary to learn everything from books you know - how do you think the moves were developed in the first place before books were written, LOL. Developing magic yourself is far more satisfying than blindly copying books or DVDs.

  • @eevil123 Look 95% of people that post in these threads are magicians or magic students. If someone genuinely wants to know about a move I'll tell them. I've down 100's of shows and I like to help fellow students with effects. Maybe they are thinking of doing it themselves and want to know what is involved. Cup through cup is hardly rocket science is it? So lets all be a little bit more helpful to fellow posters.

  • @eevil123 What's your problem, I just explained a move for someone who wanted to know.

  • @CopyCat1995 That's OK, I explained it to him :-)

  • @superchef78 He simply drops the top cup and the force of it knocks the bottom one out of his hand, so the top one replaces the bottom one. It looks like the top one went straight through.

  • His palming is top quality... He's the best sleight of hand magician with slydini and jay scott berry
