He was told by the G.O.P. you defend that this was him trying to find something to move past the Lewisky scandal. That's right the "we kept you safe" party were more interested in a blow job than Bin Laden. Clinton also eft in his letter to Bush about Bin Laden. Also need I bring it back up that Bush had the letter in his hand on August of that year. "Bin Laden to strike in US" And we do blame Roosevelt

@StirItUP1973, first off, 9/11 was planned years before Bush even took office, during Clinton's time 8 years AFTER we were attacked in 1993 during Clinton's watch again. Clinton didn't learn from these people as he could have taken out Bin Laden but chose to do nothing but leave it to the next administration to clean up.

Second, we've never had an attack on our soil, other than the attack on our military base in Pearl Harbor which was on Roosevelt's watch! So should we blame him too?

This is probably Keith Obermann's best commentary. Even though he goes over the top too often, he is right that the Republicans used

the September 11, 2001 attacks as a political tool; and the terrorists as a political tool.

They shouldn't have used a replay of the attacks; and showing it in a "respectful" manner is a very phony ploy.  If they wanted to be respectful, they should not have shown it at all, or even used it as a reference in the context of getting votes.
