my mum rescue a horse from the kinglake bushfires he is a warmblood and when we got him he was 4 weeks old and never been touched. mum named him phoenix
he got colic and we thought he was going to es.
die as he hadnt eaten or done anything for 2 days and he got worse and our vet was going to put him down. He had tupe in his neck and he looked so sad. Phoenix got over the colic
He is 3 years old now and has been broken in and mums been riding him, she loves him so much
I rescue horses and It more than people think they become family and the ones you cant save breaks your heart...I have been rescueing for 6 years now...Ive seen good times and a few sad but its all worth it...Bless you for helping one more get a good home...
My husband (who knows absolutely nothing about horses) bought a horse (not a rescue because the owner was too tight to even part with what was left of the horse). It was skin and bones and really, really unhappy. I nursed him back to health and I'm so proud that I have one of the most beautiful anglo-arabs on the planet and EVERYONE who sees him tells me I'm so lucky to have him. I agree:)
Nice horse. Super cheesy music!
