The Golden Fur Pin 2007

The Golden Fur Pin Award is one of Denmark's most prestigious design awards, where young designers are given the unique opportunity to present their ideas on the contemporary design possibilities of fur. Kopenhagen Fur and The Danish Fur Trade Association are behind the competition.

Each year, five invited designers are given a time limit of 48 hours to design three individual fur styles at Kopenhagen Studio. They are given absolute freedom of design and materials, as long as fur constitutes the main element. The styles are then presented at a large-scale show that has become an industry gathering. The winner of The Golden Fur Pin 2007 was Hans Christian Madsen. He has now joined Italian super brand Diesel designing menswear.
