  • Dariusz Paradowski is a male soprano, currenty singing as sopranist. His voice didn't break as you were discussing and this is the phenomen- it's not even explained by doctors how this is possible. This allow him to sing both- in baritone and soprano scale. He is sopranist because of his choice. He is still able to sing baritone. He is extrmely talented and he's also an amazing voice teacher. I used to be his student...

  • And how exactly can you sing baritone if your voice doesn't break? Bear in mind that I am not asking why, but HOW. An unbroken voice cannot sing baritone. Ever heard a 9-year-old sing baritone? I don't think so.

  • I'm very sorry, but it seems like everybody wants to be unique >:( I'm a little bit tired of this kind of speculations, really. Even castrati used falsetto to rich their highest notes. And how is that possible for a non-castrated adult man to sing in a soprano range without using of falsetto? Mysterious "unique unbroken voice" sounds like a fairytale to me. It's just ridiculous >:(

  • My point exactly. Thank you.

  • I don't actually know anything about this man, so I can't really put a valid point into any arguments, however, keep in mind that if a man trains with his falsetto, he can learn to sing the soprano part just as well as any female. Thus, we have countertenors.

-shrug- Idk if that's even relevant to his case, but whatever.xD

  • @countertenors If he used "falseto" (in fact head voice/ contre tenor), it would be the most beautiful proof that contre tenors can equal to male soprano…

I have two solutions for that mystery:

    1. His natural, "modal" range is: whole contralto (small octave and up to c'''). So he can sing soprano and tenor (not baritone- it is exaggeration).

    2. The same theory as in first point but whole about perfect fourth lower; the last soprano notes as head voice (“falsetto”) with perfect connection.

  • VA PURE AD ALTRI IN BRACCIO.

  • Witam serdecznie. Wczoraj zupełnie przypadkiem obejrzałam w tv Kultura dokument zatytuowany "Sopranista" Jestem Pana talentem i osobą w ogóle zafascynowana. Zyczę wszystkiego najlepszego, przede wszystkim dużo zdrowia i niekończącej się radości z artyzmu jaki Pan wykonuje. Pozdrawiam

  • If he can sing baritone, it follows that his voice did break--young children cannot sing baritone. He is apparently a baritone-falsettist countertenor, and this clip is sung in falsetto (quite well, too,)

  • I thought this was lovely.

  • @lalagonegaga It would be curious to know if he started off with a high voice which, through time, got lower and that is why he can sing baritone. I recall, in my situation, that my voice never broke either. I sang soprano too in my 20's. I sounded like a girl when I talked. Now that I have gotten much older, my voice has dropped but I can still hit very high notes. I know of this young kid (don't recall his name) who sings tenor stuff and he hasn't reached puberty yet. Sings arias.
