Michael Thorne plays one-handed sporting a broken wrist

How did it happen? A singer (Connie Scriver) & I both fell while I helped her off stage in Milton, Ontario, after playing in an Ozzy tribute. I landed, then her head was heading straight for the floor beside me, so I stuck out my arm. I crushed my scaphoid bone between her head & the concrete. She also hurt her arm, and I had a limp for awhile, too. I had to keep playing, or else I might lose gigs, so I developed my right hand and used my hat foot a lot, as well as the double kick pedals....thank god for those!!

  • His one arm is pretty fast but I'm not going to lie, 90% was just the obvious double kick, just he because he is using 3 out of 4 of his limbs doesn't make this hugely impressive, and it did lose a lot of it depth from one arm, still either way you can tell he is an amazing drummer.

  • holy shit you're a awesome drummer

  • wooow man, your siick at this !!!

  • @dayjoborchestra he has a twin pedal, and he does a run on the other drums(theory)?

  • Def Leppard!

  • Wow!! Ok that was a real eye opener. Your a really great drummer. I hope you get famous cause you've obviously practiced your ass off. I hope your arm heals ok. Not only are you a great drummer but you went outta your way to help that girl. Dude. You've got a big heart and a great talent of drumming. Best to you bro. Stay cool.
