  • I got over my fear of spiders but i still wouldn't touch those two, i would keep them. but i wouldn't touch them

  • caught atrap door last week under my car ... my dog almost got it thank got i got to it before her...=) awesome species

  • gorgeous Avic Avic!!!

  • @Jon3800 Wow 30 minutes that's woww you are really serious about them, are you a seller or arachnids lover just like me?? :)

  • @blackMEETYOURMAKER

different spiders have different personalities.. Not all will have your textbook characteristics. Mine made the hole and door...I spent $20 on mine, and to this day after recording 69 tarantula feeding videos...he last attacked on camera since video 50.

  • @Jon3800 so your trapdoor didnt made the door too?? only hole? doorless tunnel ?

I thought all trapdoor spiders (black african/red trapdoor/malaysian/brushed trapdoor)made the door like in other youtube videos and grown so big as big as your hand. I bought him just wanted to watch his eating action, he even cant make the door. now I waste my 30$

    3) If you're saying 3 inches she's already a fully mature, it's not young as most trapdoors reach 2-3''.

    4) Check the mythbuster video series...there is already a detailed trapdoor care video. I care exactly like H.lividum. There's no really making an update video on mine since I never seen her since November. All I would be doing is to review a patch of dirt LOL

    some tips for you:

    1) You have to understand not ALL trapdoor spiders will behave the same way. I honestly wouldn't worry if it never ate for 3.5-4 days. Like I said time and time again...spiders can go through months without food...My own trapdoor has refused food for 4 weeks now.

    2) Breaking its door consistently to check on is something you should NOT be doing... that's stresses it and will kill it (this happened to me). there is NO door hinge

  • @blackMEETYOURMAKER no sorry my trapdoor is younger and smaller its 3inch, in 9:10 it is a brushed trapdoor spider (so lucky you are that species is the best my fav, just wait when she get old 100% looks like silver plated spider) mine is black african trapdoor spider

  • @Jon3800 you got same container as mine 1:45 and my trapdoor is same big as yours, once I made a hole with my finger he get in and he made the door but he didnt make the door hinge. He wont eat for 1 half week i worried about that then i break his door to make sure he's ok but maybe that my mistake, he still alive and i have no idea with this. it's really hard to keep young trapdoor, if you can make some video about your trapdoor it might be helpful for people like me
