@jim5596 Look at Florida Tech rowing. 9 guys last year on the entire team and they got 3rd at Dad Vails In the V8. 14 guys this year and won the Collegiate 8 at Charles. Both years with no seniors only 1 junior and the rest sophomores and freshmen. Alls you need for an 8 is 8 tough guys and a good coach.

I love it when countries that aren't big on rowing and step it up and compete. I row for a Smaller sized high school in Pensylvania in the U.S and we get lucky if weget thirty guys to come out for our crew and we are still some of the best around so i give some of these teams alot of respect.

Now that's an amazing race... I'm not from GBR, nor from any country in this race. However, i have coxed for 6 years at a competitive racing level, and for a crew to be able to drive that hard, at such a late point in the race is truly a credit to the rowers, the coxan and their coach. I don't think many realise how damn mentally tough it is to row almost an entire race from behind, and then to be able to just GO, and take that amount of water at 6.3+ Mps at that point in the race.. Incredible
