While not bad and the footprint makes it attractive, it is FAR from the BEST SOUNDING of the available piano instruments. It's modeling technology, and sounds like it. Very toy-like. THE BEST SOUNDING of the available piano VI;s are made by UVI SoundSource. Wood, hammers, strings, sounds like you're in the room with it. Next, AcousticSamples, really good. Listen to OldBlackGrand here at youtube...

@qbertykey as you can see, this is over 2 years old, and I've had plenty others since. I'm a HUGE fan of UVI sound libraries :) And the new acousticsamples stuff in MachFive 3 is great as well. Also, this wasn't the best video to in terms of audio, but it does sound really great, I suggest trying to demo. I end up using different pianos in different situations

@SoundsAndGear Yeah, I realized this was an old i=vid. But, I've also used the PianoTeq when it was new. I actually am a keyboard player and was NOT moved by the sound, while I appreciate what they were attempting. But, it would be great if they could get the SOUND, with that footprint. :)

@qbertykey no problem, I feel ya, I tried it when they first came out and it sounded better when I did this video, I still use it but again, just depends on what I'm going for. I have a few different pianos actually.

Did you say "Port St. Joe" at the beginning of the vid? As in PSJ, FL?
