I have loved Amy Grant ever since I first heard her music. This is one of my favorite songs, and I play it throughout the year. There are so many great songs by her. She's a very gifted artist. If you don't have the album STRAIGHT AHEAD, please, pick it up. It's awesome!

I am actually in a christmas play at my church called More Than An Heirloom and the final scene sings this song. It's a good play there's four generation and four scenes and I'm in the third generations scene. And I have a bro and dad who grow close because of the importance of love, god, and memories in that scene.

I have always loved Amy when I first heard her singing, she's totally awesome!

Thank you for posting this song. I love to sing, but wasn't a "singer" officially, but had a fairly good voice. Anyway...when this song came out, I loved it so much, I rehearsed it over and over and surprised my parents and family on Christmas eve, by singing it to them, so they would know how much they meant to me and how much Jesus meant to me! That was probably Christmas 1987! (I was 28)
