As far as raising your kids on your own, you seem like you are a great mom & I am sure your kids have been raised just fine. All you can do is your best & hope that it is enough, which it is almost always more than enough so no worries: )

My prayers are with you and your family Crafty. Keep your chin up. I grew up in a small town in Louisiana, so I know what you mean about Rednecks, and just plain small-minded people. The next time someone ask you if you are in a gang, just turn the question around and say, "Are you in a gang? because you sure look like it". You should have asked her what Redneck gang her children belonged to. That should shut them up fast ! Anyway....Blessings of the Light to you )0(

You are doing everything "right"...give your children Love, and all will turn out okay. Give them of your Spirit, and the Spirit will take care of all their needs, and yours as well.
If your son has trouble with his heart, then he needs to look INTO his heart to find the answers on how to heal himself. All physical pain can be traced to a Spiritual source.
Be strong. Find your strength and hold on to what helps you to heal. Make your days happy, despite any pain that attempts to break you. <3

From what I hear you sound like a great Mom, life brings so many experiences sail through the good and climb the bad in the end it all makes us a stronger and wiser person, it all happens for a reason. Just remember to take time out for yourself because without you what would be?
