Why do you pick these fights? Hike your own hike and let other hike their own hike. If you keep this up I promise your stove business will suffer. Slow your roll Tinny,

As usual your way is the right way

@minibulldesign All a matter of hiking style tinny. A few months ago you were comfortable at the 8-9 pound range, now you have found the way to the 5 pound range in comfort by giving up a few things. Those who want to get lower have to give up other things, and a 1 through 10 ounce cook kit and fuel is one of those things some of us make the decision to give up in order to reach lower base pack weights. HYOH YMMV.

@ken0is0gay0fan0club No need to boil because the meal is HYDRATED. M.R.E.'s are just that... Meals Ready to Eat ... i.e. COLD. They only need to be warm, for the sake of morale. DEhydrated meals nead boiling water. The fact that a DEhydrated meal meal actually NEEDS boiling water or not isn't nearly as important as the proper setting. Warm is relative to EVERYONE. A boil is the same, the world around.

tinny, went on a 12-mile hike yesterday through mammoth cave national park with my hiking friend, used my bios stove, i boiled water to prepare a meal and coffee, thanks for all your videoz, i checked out this person with the rip-off stove, he claims he made some improvements to the stove, so it is not the same stove, i think it is obvious this character is a rip-off. i am surprised more people don't steal more of your ideas. stay origional tinny. dj

@RaulPerez1 Yes, this post was before I realized you had not known about smokeeater908 stealing Tinny's designs, and I apologized for my snap judgement. I am not sure which vid or post, but I posted yesterday. The crux of the issue is with this coward punk loser smokeeater908 who thinks no one knows he is actually a moron.

@guillermomomomo I figured this post was made before I clarified my position in the other video. However, I would appreciate my name not be used to be associated with the current issue at hand since I have zero involvement in this "stove war". And as I have stated in the previous video I have officially suspended my review until I can decide the proper course of action.

Smoke eater is a big trashy turd
I am pretty sure I have said "I do not boil water" about a hundred times or so over the last year. Just because a bag says to boil water does not mean you have to actually boil water. The vast majority of the time I rehydrate my meals with cold water, not even taking the time to warm up water. Guess what: They still taste the same, have the same texture, and it might take a little bit longer to rehydrate, but learn how to prepare meals on the trail people!! Rehydrate BEFORE you get to camp!!

@RedwoodOutdoors Redwood--I don't like cold lasagna--or mashed potatoes or Chill mac. And if you figure the extra weigh of carrying the meals in your pack for hours with water in them you could easily justify a stove and fuel and be eating a good hot meal. Say nothing about hot drinks and other thing warm or hot water comes in really handy for. The numbers for not boiling water just don't add up. This is a nobrainer
