week 1 is almost over & I can honestly say I'd never give this girl up. she has such a cheeky personality that I just adore. she really loves her jumping too. she is extremely strong when lunging cause thats all we can do cause our tack is arriving today. niamh(meandbrandyxx) sat up on her and we walked around the arena, then she squeezed her sides and the bucked her off, she has her reasons but it was like we took 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. this horse hasn't been ridden and barely touched in about a year so shes unfit and has her trust issues which I totally understand why. at first she wouldn't let us touch her legs but shes getting better at it. shes fine with getting her feet washed too which is amazing. as you can see in the video she had no idea what trot poles were but after two fails she knew what to do. shes been jumping up to about 60cm.

anyone got any ideas on how to cheer her up? yesterday she was a little down in the dumps so we gave her a day off, she seems depressed since the move on Monday.

I'll have another video up of her this time next week, hopefully we'll be riding then :B
