Sonic possesses all the traits of a hero with speed, reactions, and attitude way beyond any average human. So technically he IS a superhero.

The definition- the OFFICIAL DEFINITION of the word SUPERHERO is ANY character in fiction that has abilities beyond a normal human-no matter that characters species or whatever- who is dedicated to protecting the public.

Sonic fits this definition exactly so that makes a super hero. You can also call him a hero, as you can't be the first without being the former. That is all. Fuck this argument. School systems failed us again. Good day.

Ok man, that's some grade-A bullshit right there. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Super Mario Sunshine, both Luigi's Mansion games, and the Smash Brothers games all had music made by professional composers and an entire orchestra. I love Sonic and his games to death, even more than Mario, but you should definitely think before you say some shit like that.

Honestly though I prefer the title Hero to superhero. Why does "super" have to be added. Plus the way media has ruined superheroes for me (I don't like Superman and shit, sorry) I'd rather Sonic just be a hero.
