If you watch this episode backwards, Rarity kisses spike which causes anti-gravity in the world. The only way to fix that is for Rarity to cry which also unexpectedly turns Spike into Spikezilla. Rarity gets turned off at the monster she created and starts putting her clothes back on. From there on out Spikezilla brings Rarity home and returns stolen goods then fixes Ponyville from the anti-gravity crisis. That good deed turns Spike to normal which turns on Rarity which then kisses him.
