In this video, Mahalo expert Sean Hewitt explains how to add a video to your blog posts using Windows Live Writer.

Windows Live Writer - Adding Video
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you have your blog created with text, one thing you can add is video.

To do so, place your cursor in the area you would like to add your video. Click on the Video icon at the top, then choose whether you would like to upload your video From the web, From your computer or From video service.

If, for instance, you would like to add video from a service, a dialogue box will pop up. The default service is YouTube, so you can just log in to YouTube through the dialogue box and insert your own videos as well as videos you've marked as "favorite."

If you choose the From File tab within this dialogue box, you can also post videos to YouTube from your computer. Click on the button to the right of the Video File field to choose a video from your computer. This will upload a video of your choosing to YouTube from inside Windows Live Writer, and then insert the video into your blog.

In the video tutorial, Sean decides to insert a video From Web by clicking on that tab. With this option, you're given the embedded link of a video online. Simply click Insert to paste this link into your blog post.

Once it's in the blog, you can even resize it by clicking and dragging any of the sides or corners of the video. You can also add a caption at the bottom.

Once you have your everything you want in your blog, you can either Save it or Post it. To post it, navigate to the Home tab at the top and click Publish.
