  • I like your cooking style keep on but suya is not only for nigeria. i think it is an African way of roasting meat or beef.pls it is an African kebab.

  • Hello, just to say I agree; would actually say it is one of Africa's kebabs. In Nigeria it is called Suya and some even call it Tsire. In Ghana it is called Chichinga. You may not know that this form of meat roasting is actually the origin of the popular Jamaican 'Jerk'.

  • Beautiful presentation.....Actually Suya was and is the traditional way that people from the desert landscapes(Sahara) prepared their meat in order to preserve it in the heat. Jamaican cuisine is actually an interpretation of what they remembered from Africa mixed with the Creole influence. They did not come over to the north to teach or influence Hausa's. Shalom
