@shauncFs watch a best known metal lead guitarist, marty friedman, giving a certain emotion to the song instead of playing every exercise exists on a troy stetina book in e minor ;)

What this comment section needs is more self proclaimed guitarists who can complain nonstop about this video and/or let everyone know that they're just sooooo much better than Kirk Hammett and how untalented he is.
One thing I know for sure, hobby guitarists are all first class player haters.

like the distortion part

Half the reason this sounds kind of crappy is that the gear setup he is using isn't meant for blues at all. high gain amp with high output humbucker guitar? Sounds too thin and lifeless when trying to play Hendrix. The other reason is that it is Kirk Hammett.

@cqyuesefu might be but dont generalize, some legends were born in other countries, santana, for example.

idk what people are fussin' about... A cover is simply a musician's interpretation of an already existing piece... And he, as a musician decided to portray it in a heavier style than the mainly blues oriented styles from Hendrix and Vaughn. I personally prefer Hendrix's to all of the others... but i give respect to his style of playing it
@Bastiat90 Sorry to say, but you're a douchebag. This isn't a note by note cover, it's his own interpretation of the song. Hammett isn't a bluesman, he doesn't have that "funky" touch that Hendrix had, he plays heavy metal ffs. So the song IS going to come out a bit different, don't you think? In Little Wing Hendrix sounded like he was playing two fucking guitars, what man can do that?
Certainly not you Mr. Judgemental Asspie. Kirk did the best he could, deal with it.
