SPOILED LITTLE BRAT. The way this guy acts one would think that he was the only veteran around. Truth is, he should be ashamed of himself. Members of the military are deploying over and over again - this guy makes one deployment and he fancies himself a war hero. HE NEEDS TO GO.

Good job to Mr. Casa. He called McCann out and McCann couldn't take it. He blamed, "You People" for calling him out on his garbage. He lets the superintendent walk away with half a million dollars in taxpayer money but he's whining about a little criticism. True veterans and hero's don't advertise! McCann should just get out of politics while he still has some (very little) dignity. Weak politician, weak values, and weak leadership.

What a great video. It really captures the moment. One slimey politican that can't handle the job and wants to blame everything on those that oppose him. I'm no expert but I'd say that his chances for mayor are almost nil now that everyone has see his little tantrum. Way to go John - you've showed us that you are out of your depth in a puddle.

@didmytime1000 Funny, I didn't see him either. I'd like to invite him down to one my the Vietnam Vet meetings and have him tell us about his tour in Iraq. Maybe, he can go visit the Wounded Warriors and the Naval Hospital and tell them about his tour. This guy won't help anyone unless there is something in it for him. Guys like him me my stomach turn.

Hey McCann, you say you are all about the military and veterans...I didn't see you helping out at the Veteran's Stand Down this past weekend. I guess there was no real opportunity for you to spew your "I'm a veteran " speech. It kind of goes along with everything else you do and stand for. All talk and no action. You go ahead and keep talking the talk without walking the walk. The citizens of CV know all about you and your petty little rants. We all know how you operate and we're sick of it

John, there is no "I" in team...but I guess in your case...there is an "M" and an "E." I'm applaud Mr. Casas for his courage in calling McCann out on his garbage. Freedom of speech Johnny Boy - it extends to everybody. The only thing you are after is getting elected Mayor of Chula Vista...not as long as I help it. The people of Chula Vista will remembers the thousands of taxpayer dollars you have squandered as president of the school board, and the corruption you have enabled and encouraged.

I remember when McCann was a city council member. I asked for his help on more than one occasion but he wouldn't even bother to return my emails or phone calls. I don't believe that he is a very effective leader or politician. As for the school board - just another story of the inmates running the asylum. I hear he wants to be Mayor? I wouldn't vote to make him the neighborhood watch captain. Typical politician.

Why don't you worry about that instead of trying to disguise your shortcomings and failures behind your military service. @SBBetterGovernment - You say Mr. Casas is a Union thug? No, he's a teacher, in the trenches doing the hard job. He never once degraded crybaby McCann's military service. Funny how you mention freedom of speech but only as it pertains to crybaby McCann. Get real. Freedom of speech extends to everyone. I'd have to ask what color the sun in on your planet when you state that Casa tries to take away rights of military members. You are a big joke and so is your boy McCann.

@SBBetterGovernment Your comment is a joke. It's an all volunteer force - nobody has to go. Just because McCann did ONE tour in Iraq doesn't make him anymore special than the thousands that have done 2, 3, 4, and maybe 5 tours - and not behind the lines. If McCann wants to bring his service into the political arena than he should have the guts to face the public when they call him on his BS. Yes he served - let it go.
