Jindal opposed monitoring volcanos because he is very ignorant. The world has now been divided into Volcanic Ash Alert Centres(VAAC). A large passenger plane almost crashed near Alaska recently, due to ash from the newly alive volcano. Ash alerts are now posted worldwide for obvious safety reasons. Volcanism has increased exponentially over the past 20 years and is still accelerating in number of eruptions and old volcanos, coming back to life.This will become much worse.Monitoring is necessary.

Obama's money give a false sense of security. Who spends more than they can afford? The money has rules too. The federal government tells the states how to spend the money. Is that right? State revenues don't rebound over night and in Miss it would be 2013 before it would go up after going down. The money would last 2 years, then what? Raise taxes at a time people are pushing pennies to pay for something we couldnt afford?
