for me is. . the parts of the LAND ROVER is expensive compared to the LANDCRUISER and i've seen a LAND cruiser with 750,000km on the engine. that is all

The first two test were completely useless only the last test made any sense. Why would you want to use hill decent to slow down the vehicle to plunge in water to pop ur head out the window to grab a dummy. Let's give it some real test like cost effective to drive bought, fuel economy. That would sort out who's who in this class.

I liked the old Discos. The LR4 lost its english character. Not saying it isn't really capable or comfortable because it clearly is but the styling is just bland to me and it could easily be a german or italian design. whenever I would see old Rovers they exuded that English genteelness. Now this thing looks like it was designed by VW. Bring back the tweeds and yellow teeth and nice bread pudding.

In Mongolia LandRovers considered to be a rich men's vehicle that to make statements about themselves. But, they too, when it comes to go Far to off-road they take landcruisers for practical reasons. LC a bit cheaper than comparable models and more reliable which is most important things when you make trip in harsh conditions. If you have two of these you buy them both and drive them according to their conditions. If to buy just one I'll buy LandCruiser. I am not rich guy, make a choice.
