@email19221892 to some extend that is very true you can't protest without hurting the people who work there and yes, I know when sales are down they cut payroll meaning cutting hours of level 1 Team Members Ethics, social responsibility, and personal rights and freedoms Businesses should have standards... and when a company is paying for a party to celebrate your GLBT rights and freedom but they are also working to get the candidate who will ban gay marriage elected I think that's just wrong

@email19221892 I hear what you are saying however Target prides it self on being a big donor of Minneapolis Gay Pride event every year and in such a close MN Gov. race them picking the anti-Gay rights vs. the pro Gay Marriage candidate is very much an insult on that issue... of course they were picking the candidate for other reasons yet it still is very disappointing for people who have to live without equal protection under the law

I understand you are against their decision to donate to a political party which doesn't support your views. However, I ask you to take into consideration two things. First, if every company made a political donation to a political candidate with similar views would you stop supporting them? Eventually you will run out of businesses to support. Second, have you ever thought that this candidate if elected will help Target long term with their goals and that is why they sponsored his campaign?

@CandyLaStar You said "if enough people did this then Target would have to spend more money on employees hours to spend time restocking the shelf's...". I'm not sure if you had payroll responsibilities when you worked at Target but in all retail stores, including Target as I've worked in management there in the past, they cut payroll budget when sales are down. So these protest would further hurt the store employees or team members as Target would say.

This wench needs to get a job. And not have so much time to fuck off and harass people. Just because HER relative is a queer, doesn't make it right.

Omg really boycott... Target and many other stores donate to hundreds if charities and different organizations ... Let them have thir own damn opinion !! Get over urself .. Doesn't mean target (reexamine the one employee hates gays.... Hello!!
@Hekinsieden I worked in retail about 10 years ago, and was a manager of a comparable establishment to Target. So I feel for these associates who are harassed by people who try to make points, when all they do is ruin someone's day who makes $11/hr. Absolutely ridiculous.... but somehow they think theire making a difference.

...it is a PERFECT way to protest!!! if enough people did this then Target would have to spend more money on employees hours to spend time re stocking the shelf's time spent checking out the guest and time returning the items!! I used to work for Target as a GSTL so I know... great job lady you probably costed them a few hours of payroll with no profit!... of course her alone has no impact giving the staff has little communication with the CEO staff but none the less well done!! and THANKS!
