A Touch of Deceit - Michel Gagné's Student Film from 1986

This is the film I did while attending Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, way back in 1985/86. The whole thing was animated on paper, inked and painted on cel, and shot on 16mm film.

Lets's put this into context. Except for help on BGS, Gagne animated on paper, inked and painted on cel, and shot it on a camera. Somehow we're paralyzed by "all the work" we have to do at sheridan today, without having to xerox drawings, without laborious painting on cel, and without having to set up every single master to shoot a single frame of film.

It makes me feel ashamed, to know that we can do so much today, yet do so little.
