The South Ossetian Capital is being rebuilt with the assistance of the Russian Government. In 2011, the Russian Government has outlined plans to provide the South Ossetian Government with a further 6.8 Billion Rubles (1.00 USD is 26.00rub). This interview was with an elderly couple who have moved into their new apartment. The apartment was destroyed in 2008, and Moscow has rebuilt their apartment. A commitment the Russian Government made to South Ossetia in the wake of the conflict with Georgia in August 2008. Although, it has taken more than 2 years, the money and support promised by Moscow is beginning to take effect. This woman explains the war, what happened. And is angle of the war. Including thanking the Russian Government for the support it has provided to South Ossetian citizens. This interview is b grade and will not be used in the upcoming production, which is why it has been placed on youtube. It is also unedited, and subtitles have not been placed in the clip. Basically, it is raw and uneditied. This film is totally spontaneous. We turned up at this reconstruction and asked would he mind telling us his story. This research is not meant to create controversy or relive old wounds. It is a journalistic piece, and presents an angle. The story of South Ossetia.

Most importantly, this is their experience and their story, so I will let them do the talking -

Australian Journalist and Researcher, Tim Byrnes, delivers his research in a speech at the Australian National University's (ANU) School of Islamic and Central Asian Studies. Tim was a journalist during the 2008 conflict and revisited the region of South Ossetia in December 2010 and January 2011.
