Tail end of WCIU 26 Chicago analog shutdown. WCIU was Chicago's first UHF station to sign on in 1964 and was the last to shut down on June 12, 2009. Recorded off-air using a Pinnacle HTDV stick.
It actually turns out that WCIU is serving as a "nightlight" and is using WMME 23's analog transmitter to simulcast WCIU to those few who still havent switched. They are also simulcasting WGN's 9:00pm newscast, and a few of WMAQ5's newscasts throughout the day.
