I saw them do Sailin On at the Spice Club In Hollywood in '87(?) and it was in the hardcore vain (like it should be). Big Drill Car played and I think Olive Lawn opened.
It was much better, live. This version is garbage :(

@bblocker68 wow! you're so lucky..to have gone and seen them before they were famous i'd kill to be born in the 70's-80's. && i totally agree with you (even if i hadn't been there) the live version of this is better. But i like this one as well.
