Awnings are a pain in the butt! Spoils the idea behind having a caravan in the first place.
I'd like to see an awning using inflatable technology, I've worked in a portable, inflatable hangar before and I don't see why that cant be applied to awnings. Just think...arrive switch on the blower, peg it down. On leaving site reverse the pump to deflate and roll it up? Come on?

Am I missing something here or is there no need to peg the base of the awning down to the ground all around? If so that is a first.
