Golden Bay Grotto Free-diving

Trip to an awesome grotto around Malta. We started in Golden Bay with Charlie's Discovery Speedboat Trips to this shining blue grotto. The water is extremely clear, and the unique lighting lets everything underwater shine in deep blue colour.

Thomas has filmed me with a Pansonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 and a waterproof bag (DiCAPac WP-610).

havent realised its that deep there! hehe and i can hear charlie at the end of the video :)

It was really deep there, I was also diving there with fins where I got about twice as deep, but even that was quite a way from the bottom.

And sorry, the "hehe, ok?" at the end of the video was not Charlie but my brother :)

how is the quality for the waterproof bag for tz5?

is the lens easy to scratch and any water leak?

I think the quality is pretty good. I did a few apnea dives to 7m or so, and it was perfectly tight. It says "10m waterproof", but I am sure you could dive to 20m or more with it when you leave some air in it so the pressure can be equalized.

When taking pictures or make videos you have to take care that the camera is aligned properly or else you will see a black border on a side from the shaft for the lense.

Operating while in the bag takes a bit of practice.

I would definitely buy it again.
