A bare metal U-2 (rarely seen) was doing some touch n go's, go arounds, and hi/low key approaches at the Palmdale Airport/Plant 42. I didnt record the touch n go because it was so far away and hard to see.

If you go to flightaware and look up this airport (KPMD), you will see that they do a lot of test flights almost daily.

It is bare metal because of an inspection that is done ever 10 years or so many flying hours where the aircraft is taken apart, basically to nothing, inspected, and rebuilt. Its doing touch and goes probably because he is doing a Functional Check Flight (FCF) that is done after the inspection. Also another reason for touch and goes is to acquire monthly hours pilots need. But due to it being Palmdale and no paint, he's probably doing FCF.

Shut the engine down and go find some thermals. ;) I'm kidding. It kind of reminds me of some fun I had in a sailplane one summer.

I used to live here but now I'm stuck in Indiana. The closest thing I get here to seeing a cool aircraft such as this is this idiot who keeps flying and crashing his gyro copter.
