So... hunter-gatherers are somehow better making it to 30, half of all women dying in childbirth, a third of children dying before they make it to puberty? Idyllic claptrap. We need a balance between the two, not this idealizing of something so cruel.

Dying of parasitization is not paradise. And being the Earth's parasites is just as bad. There must be a balance.
