Why can't this be released on DVD? I wish I still had my old copy but it somehow got lost during a childhood move. Its a wonder this never got picked up, shows way worse somehow made it through the pilot.

Thanks, my video tape of this show died a long time ago. This is one of the greatest shows that never made it.

Man...watching this in its entirety for the first time in about 20 years makes me realize just how far ahead of its time this show was: shows like "Malcolm In the Middle"; "Arrested Development"; and even "The Office" owe Alan and Co. a great debt. This was another one of those great CBS programs of the 80s that didn't survive as long as it should've..."Frank's Place" being another one of those shows!
