I sat in between Loretta and Dewey in the owners suite (Marge Schott) at a Cincinnati Reds baseball game in the mid to late '90's. She sat next to me and I got up to move for Dewey to sit next to her. He said "stay there young fella', she's going home with me, you can have her during the game". So I stayed there and she talked about George Jones, Patti Page, Tammy Wynette and her family. That was the fastest baseball game ever! Two hours were gone...like that!

She is a treasure!

I have always loved this song, not only because it's catchy and well-written, but because it seamlessly bridges several genres (country, hard rock, psychedelic rock, and maybe more), without ever sounding forced. Jack White really did Ms. Lynn justice as Producer.

Loretta Lynn is an American icon, when she walks out its as if there's an aura around her. Great song, Jack White is a strange fella but he's a good egg.
