Did the fans not know that this isn't very good etiquette for a host country in its first high profile Fed Cup tie against the favorites. Also, why would they rev up there much stronger opponents to only be slaughtered by them? Only Safina fell victim to these tactics, and Anna Chakvetadze let them have it, which was probably one of my favorite matches ever. But what a horrible crowd, really obnoxious and the Israeli team did nothing to quell it, they actually encouraged the crowd.

Why you all upset ? if sharapova didnt grunt like an idiot there would be no problem . proof is she is the only 1 that had this problem with the israeli crowed exept for gonzales that cried cause he lost to dudi sela .
