@fammguyy202 "the ring" is under the cone you pull that silver ring off and and you fold the cone in. It takes 12 screws to hold it in. Trust me it needs it to I have a ported box double layered with 3/4 inch mdf and the box is warped and leaking air because it cant hold it in. I didnt make the box before someone says something lol

like what holds this sub in the box?? i mean im probably an idiot for asking this but i dont see any screw holes around the ring and it looks like it would use a seperate ring or something?? i really dont know

@ruohcc13 its a 3 ohm dvc, 1.5 parallel.
-
@sergiomiramontes91 has outer and inner ring
disregaurd my last statement. that would be if it was running 1.5ohms, but if you wired in parallel at .75ohm, (if amp can handle that load) at this voltage it would be puttin out about 5100w. highly doubt the amp will hold it tho. and at 3ohms in series its 1200, yes youre right. how come they come they call it a 4000w amp if it puts out 1200 at 3ohms? not even a normal load for other subs. most would be 4ohm at like 950 for this amp?? i dont get the rating system

A few corrections for you. 1)Impedance is not the same as DCR. 2)With voice coil heating, impedance rise would make it a higher value anyway. 3)This driver has a single 3ohm coil. 4)The 4000 watt rating is derived from its intended usage (1ohm), as is every other amplifier ever designed. 5)Impedance changes with frequency, and box size, and box type. Thanks for watching.

my fault, i didnt read the title, i thought it was a 13.5w7.. a 1.5 ohm dvc.
