Check out Sarah McLachlan's vocals. Search for songs Possession and Building a Mystery, the two songs are done well on her Afterglow tour so put Afterglow in the search string. Sarah also does a great acoustic for Building a Mystery I think it was on the VH1 Storytellers thing. Listen to as many female artists as you can, not forgetting the older ones such as Ella Fitzgerald, Another fine vocal performance is Eva Cassidy singing Fields of Gold, Autumn Leaves, Songbird

@SarahMcCauley Hi Sarah, well I have no idea how old you are but I gather you are in your younger years. But really there is no age limit for starting, don't put off things to do tomorrow that you cannot do today is a quote often used. My advice is do it now as you may end up kicking yourself later on. Follow your dreams, if your dream is to get up on stage and do your stuff then go for it. You have that talent so use it and find out from those who know where to get that start.

wow, now I am a man of 47 years of age who can spot a good voice when he hears one and this is a gem of a voice. Very similar to Christina Aguilera but then she is singing one of her songs so it is understandable but wow very very good. You will do well in this career, but with your own style being a hybrid of your idols
