People who have that mindset tend to have very low self-esteem if you look at them hard enough. They need their "power" and "status" and "seniority" to make them feel like they're worth something. That's why folks like that, when the power and position or fame is gone, they go CRAZY!!! Their entire identity is wrapped up in an illusion and once the illusion is gone, reality is none too pretty. They have a skewed view of themselves, therefore a skewed view of life in general. Great post, Matt!!!

@fatguyaaron Yes, a lot of these employers do judge our current employment situation and pick their favorites even though you could be a great worker with great work ethics. I see some employers that want you to have a job before they even think to hire you. These is the judgmental world we're living in. Instead of them looking at the good they choose to focus on the bad, very sad! Thanks for sharing and watching my friend!

Matt, I am a huge fan, and I have never known you to lead people the wrong way and you are right. Beyond seniority there is a similar problem with unemployment. I have been unemployed for six months and when I am interviewed, I am judged by how long I haven't worked as though I am lazy. Like I wasn't even looking for work. Even though before I was employed for thirteen years. Like all 14 million of us are unemployed by choice.

Also it is happening on this site with some other Youtuber feuds I've seen, mainly with the bs subscriptions & views hierarchy (snobbery) folk are using to get one over on another. e.g "oh come back at me when you have 540 subs, the same as me then that's when you can talk to me". That kinda snobbery.

Unnecessary imaginary hierarchical systems/pyramids are set-up sadly.

This also happens & has done for many many years most commonly in middle-schools, high-schools & colleges.

I've seen this happen but not just with money..also with age-discrimination & bs imaginary social hierarchy systems that folk think up the most. All these things can cause tragedies, quitting/dropping-out, misery, stress...basically great damage to folk.
