Its billion of dollar incoming tax from big economic market creating new job not just in ''drug''manner u can make paper, rope, plastic, maybe can cure some disease maybe some cancer (go see doc on hemp oil and cancer) not sure but has to be verified !!!!

Seems to me that Jack was trying to talk about issues that actually matter to the majority of Canadians. People who care about decriminalization, the NDP policy hasn't change it remains committed to it. But the NDP is not the Marijuana Party. It is not a one issue policy and indeed the decriminalization of pot is nowhere near the top of the list AND IT SHOULND'T BE. There is a looming economic meltdown, climate change, health care. Those are the most important issues for most Canadians.

She's deliberately structuring the interview to make him look bad, cutting him off before he's made his point. They've both got their asses on the line here but I think Layton handles it with a lot more finesse.
