@GC0020 they used to. they only fly A330 nowadays. 3 or 4 times a day. i forgot.

i have flown cathay pacific with my family on our way to hong kong ut was a good airline but i would advise all australians to stick with qantas

Seeing as most Cathay pilots (and all on Australian routes) are Aussie I think your missing the point, they went to Cathay because QANTAS and TAA back in the day treated them like trash.
