Hello there YouTubers! This is a treat because I just recorded this dreamy ballad recently. It's Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon from the 1966 album Revolver. I'm playing it my way, soft and sweet with big crescendos and stuff. I love this song from the Beatles- it is so dreamy and mesmerizing. I hope you like my little improvised rendition. Recorded January 31, 2008.

  • I was brought to this channel after reading your comment on another video, about your art car. I saw you play this song live, if that was indeed you at BM2010 on probably Weds. night and actually came here looking for a your art car because of this very song. It made might night, it made my burn! It is one of my favorite memories from this year, it was just perfect hearing it at the time I did.

Any chance you have video of your art car? That thing is awesome.

    THANK YOU!!!!!

  • @papsmearedu thank you so much for your kind words and for appreciating my music and art. You can find a very brief video clip of my art car at my video log (Organ Car). Click on my user name (OrganicVeggieLoaf) or just type in"Organ Car" in the YouTube search.

  • Would you mind telling the brand and model of that piano? It's an absolutely beautiful instrument! And an excellent song too! I recently played an acoustic version of this song with my string/choir/rythm group! :D

  • @KHDemyx, I no longer have this piano, but I think it was a Hoffman of Chicago made circa 1920's. It was retrofitted with an "O" style orchestrion mechanism hence the odd looking tubing and other stuff. I tuned and regulated the piano and also restored the orchestrion. It was a fantastic sounding instrument- one of the nicest vintage uprights I've ever played although the action was rather clunky and unresponsive due to its age, so I had to compensate for that. Thanks for commenting!

  • i think its safe to say he does this song justice

  • "Lennon was quoted in 1972 as having said that he wrote 70% of the lyrics,[10] and in 1980 claimed that he wrote all but the first verse, but Pete Shotton, Lennon's childhood friend, remembered Lennon's contribution as being "absolutely nil". Donovan also reported that he heard McCartney play it to him before it was finished" -Wikipedia - /wiki/Eleanor_Rigby
