California High-Speed Trains: UPRR Central Valley

This 3D animation clip shows a conceptual design for high-speed trains through the Central Valley north of Bakersfield. The proposed route will follow along side existing Union Pacific tracks.

As much as Californians want High Speed Rail...I hope it happens soon. Not JUST for California, but for America as a whole. Look at other countries that have HSR:

Japan - The size of California.

South Korea - About the same size as Minnesota.

Spain - Slightly more than twice the size of Oregon.

France - slightly less than double the size of Colorado.

Taiwan - Slightly larger than the states of Maryland & Delaware combined.

Think about it...THOUSANDS of American jobs!

i think the California High Speed Rail is a very good idea. it would get a lot of the traffic off the highways around LA and san fran and of course create jobs, its just the time and money that would go into it.

High speed rail will not only hurt the airline Industry, but it will hurt the Greyhound Bus more why? because for the same price of riding Greyhound bus, you would travel 4 time faster than Buses and have more room, people loves to travel faster for the lower cost, well Fuck Greyhound line.

Let's keep this crap to just the low grade CG Images as seen here and in the remaining brain control propoganda. If the rest of this concept and FUNDING is of equal caliber, rather than pay the insane taxe burden to build this pointless to pointless manifold route(s) I will gladly leave California, AND I WON'T BE ALONE.
