Facebook CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg commented, when asked at the Facebook mobile event last week, if he would be bringing out an iPad App, that the iPad was "Not a mobile device, it is a computer."
So, Is the iPad a Mobile Device? What do you guys think
Who cares whether it's mobile or not?

iPad is most definitely mobile - it doesn't run a full OS and it is portable it bridges the gap between the mobile OS and the non mobile Tablet PC hardware ecosystem.
So id consider iPad mobile but not any of these new tablets even though they compete in the same space to a certain extent largely because of the OS and the product as a whole.

In the world of computing there is distinction between 'mobile' and 'portable'. I'm sure that Mark Sugarberg understands that but he obviously doesn't feel that it qualifies as a 'mobile app' driven device.

Great video Harry. I think Sugarberg is wrong, The iPad needs a Facebook App. The iPad is a mobile device in the technical sense it requires third party mobile apps such as those found on the iphone and ipod touch in order to drive it. It's of course a portable device, its small light and easy to carry.

In my opinion the ipad is a mobile because it is very easy to move around and has a great battery life. Probably, Zuckerberg has other hidden reasons not to promote an ipad application.

Zuckerburg is a buttbag! As far as I am concerned Facebook is not a site that is easily used. The fact I can't get an iPad native site makes me use Facebook less! Good video
