Red, Green and Blue

First ever Kid Adrift song. Before Kid Adrift I was living in a house literally on the side of the Ochil hills in Scotland, it was crazily beautiful up there. I mean aggressively, life changingly beautiful in the evening. Without wishing to sound like a deranged travel agent the whole sky would completely explode into every shade of red/blue and the hills cut a thick black silhouette in the foreground as the sun went down behind them. I've never seen a view like it before or since.

Fills you with insatiable yearning and wanderlust. Robert Burns used to travel there to sit a write poems inspired by the view. I recorded this song watching all this unfold and intermittently running outside to write lyrics. It was all done in about 3 hours on my bashed up old Dell Inspiron and borrowed mic. I left pretty much all the mistakes in.
