  • No sound man... somethings up... might want to check it....

  • @didgeboy287 you have to click the car icon to save the texture with the blend file.

  • This is so frustrating. It's not working again. I pulled up my project and the texture is gone. I must have forgotten to save it or something, or maybe I changed it. Still, I followed these steps and the new material isn't sticking the texture to the selected faces. I can stick colors on the selected faces, but not the texture.

  • @lycanwolf2 This video was the hard part. Sticking a picture on a face isn't too bad. Once you hit the New button, go to your materials window. The material is probably listed as Material .001 or some such. Change it if you want and then click the texture button. Either click Load to load a pic in your computer, or use the little up/down arrows if the picture is loaded already. Thengo back to the object/mesh controls with that wireframe button and click Assign.

  • OH my gosh, thank you SO bloody much! The Blender "lesson tutorials" need some serious version updates. I spent over an hour trying to do what you did in a leisurely 2 minutes.

  • DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!! You are the first person to actually show me what I wanted to know, BUT how can I do the same thing but with pictures?

  • good job friend, thanks for that! no words needed, just nice and clear show of "what-where-how" :)!
