@eddrum100 I guess you DO know a lot about these cars. KMA anyways.
-
@dgreatll You need to check the Over Protection Relay. First see if the fuse on the top is blown.
-
@MercsDude There is no carb on a Mercedes 190e. They're fuel injected. What a dope!
-
@P3NDuKO71 Same here do you know the name of the engine so I can look it up and ask some people I know.

Was looking so much forward to some rev up =/

@bishelia I have an 86 turbo diesel 6, I suggest you get it instead of the reg 2.3 4 cylinder, the torque is retarded not the mention that it still has a better suspension then most cars out there, mine has 160k, which is nothing for a diesel engine, benz always delivers on a quality product.

I driften one of these in D1, as long as you turbo it for more power it will drift fine! No autos!

how many horses?
2.3L 16 valve is it turbocharged?
so what problems have accrued while you ownership of the car. and how much you pay for one. im looking at a 1986 m-b 190e 2.3 16v with 101k and no maintainance papers. but the car is clean and look new with no leaks and the suspension doesn't sag how much is it worth

@bishelia In all honesty I've ran in to a lot of overheating issues due to a stuck thermostat but that was a easy fix. Fuel pump issues yours is a 86 so it only has one fuel pump mine had 2. The problems i came in to was getting the car to pass smog in California. Other than that I have no issues. I spend most of my money on preventive maintenance. Timing chain, valve adjustment, suspension work, new OEM parts, replacing old stuff.

@P3NDuKO71 I have a spare euro engine that I'm going to put in someday. The current engine inside the car will be put for up for sale someday.

Just take off the 8 bolts and tap the corners of valve cover to loosen it with a rubber hammer. The hardest part is being careful to not mess up the hoses near the M in Mercedes and B in benz. The hoses are old and prone to cracking/braking. Also take care not to drop anything inside. While your at it you might as well change the valve cover gasket after you paint it. The paint is fine and hasn't changed.
