Formed in Germany right at the end of the sixties by guitarist Rudolf Schenker, the Scorpions released a number of successful albums in the seventies before exploding globally in the eighties and early nineties with hits such as Rock You Like A Hurricane and Wind Of Change.
This concert was recorded in 2000 with the world famous Berliner Philharmoniker orchestra. It contains a string of Scorpions classics such as Big City Nights, Dynamite, Wind Of Change and Still Loving You, performed by the band with full orchestral support.

I am an Egyptian revolutionary who fought to topple the horrible regime that ruled my country. I have always been in love with this song but today when I listen to it I always have tears in my eyes. It now means to much to me as we go back to rebuild our country into the grand nation we always believed in after this dictatorship destroyed all that is beautiful in it.
