A good response is covered by Larkin Rose in his piece "When Should You Shoot a Cop".

What year was this commercial aired on MTV?

Only difference is that in Europe, most people don't carry guns. In the US, many people do. Heck, you can get access to military grade weaponry just by being on a tv show. No, when the country self-destructs, it's not going to look like this. It'll be much more subtle, more insidious. Confusing laws that greatly expand government power. Slowly growing restrictions "for our protection". Stuff happening behind closed doors to gradually strip us of our freedoms. Can you say Patriot Act? SOPA? NDAA?
-
Now this is reality, thanks to Obama signing the NDAA. Google it people. We are all suspects now.

... mtv put this out? what the fuck?

It's actually really reassuring to hear vets declare they'd uphold the constitution. Cheers guys, and thanks for your service to our country; no matter what the truth is, your intentions were to protect the country and it's very important to draw a big distinction between the suits and soldiers. What worries me are the foreign UN "peace keepers" and private PMCs like Blackwater, or as they're now known: "Puppie Dog and Ice Cream Co.". I guess if this is on MTV it means peopleare finallywakingup

These videos helped elect King Obama who then strengthened the patriot act for warrentless search and seizure and also he supports TSA groping.
People are so dumb that if this was an Obama campaign ad today, they would vote for him again.
NO CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS!
Ron Paul 2012!
