Incredible Straight Pool Breakshot

I had this shot about a year ago during a 128 ball run during practice. I was at 112 balls and came up short on my break bal position. This was the only shot option I had, and it worked. I posted about it in the azbilliards Straight pool forum and made a diagram - many people thought the shot was impossible - so I set it up a few days ago and tried it again - and I made it on the 2nd try.

How would you aim that? Just like a bank shot? I'm not sure cause the impact surface is round as opposed to a flat rail.

Look at the second to last row of balls - and I aim to carom the object ball off the stack on the edge of the end ball in that row. High english - and with the correct angle, it will go in like a charm every time. I have quite a few more videos of shots like this that will be in a 14.1 DVD.

@Descente36 learn what a carom shot is. once you, shots like these become second nature if you practice it enough.

I have seen and played that shot before but not at such an extreme angle. I will have to try it. Thanks.

That shot is "dead". We used to play that shot all the time. 40 years ago!

Have seen and shot this before myself from various positions.........not a high percentage at long range, but definitely makeable and a crowd pleaser.
