@nrz666 Use with 3 AA batteries will receive 3.6

@styropyro Thanks for the explanation, in the country I live in no one even knows of RadioShack. We've got "Radio House", "Radar" and a big radiomarket far away. :D
Anyway, will 4.5V supply suit the build or is it necessary to power it from 9V?

@stypopyro Hi, got a question. I want to power my build from 3 AAA batts. So it's 4.5 volts. Diode consumes 3 volts. Another option is to power it from 9V battery. Will LM317suit the build with 4.5 V (as its nominal voltage is 1.25 V) or is it obligatory to choose another option?

@ducoducere you go it bro but for some reason i cant find how to msg you!!
After all I got all the parts and now have another question: why "$3 driver" is on title?
LM317 - 47¢
Resistor - 4¢
Cap - 4¢
Total - 55¢, nowhere near $3.

@nrz666 I say in the description that the driver cost me 40¢. The $3 figure is for buying the parts at RadioShack which I figure most of my viewers would do.
